hands-on experience producing live events, socially-engaged art, new-media photojournalism, broadcast graphics, content for LED & projection screens, and augmented reality. live performance • new media photojournalism • design • installation Nora grew up surrounded by young musicians in the suburbs of Philadelphia, who inspired her to use her voice and creativity in collaborative ways. She studied fine art photography abroad at The Glasgow School of Art, where she was introduced to a world of art and presentation. Inspired by frequent student galleries and shows in unique and unthought of spaces throughout the city, she saw art expand into the spaces, contexts, and communities they were placed in. Nora received a Bachelor's degree from Goucher College studying Philosophy and Studio Art. There, the film darkroom became her second home. She worked as a dark room lab technician for several years. After college, Nora pursued her studies to receive a masters degree at the George Washington Exhibition Design at the and is excited to continue working on projects that combine her interests driven by a desire to capture compassionate community-engagement and art. |
